To All Knights of Columbus Council 9981,
You are invited to bring your family to a special event being held on Sunday, June 16. Our council has been planning a parish-wide consecration to the Holy Family. Fr. Schroeder requested we wait until a new St. Joseph statue commissioned for our parish is installed next to the Mary and infant Jesus statue; dedicating a chapel / shrine to the Holy Family. This chapel will not be completed until fall 2019 or later. To prepare for this event and bless our families, we are going to conduct a consecration with our families on Sunday, June 16, Father’s Day, after the 8:45 AM mass.
As usually practiced on the third Sunday of each month, we will begin with praying a Rosary for religious vocations in the Catholic church. After the Rosary prayer, we will be led in prayer the prayer of Consecration to the Holy Family together (below and on cards given to all).
The consecration to the Holy Family is strongly encouraged in the Knight’s Faith in Action program. Please come to the consecration with your family and enlarge God’s blessing to your family and our church.
