Dear IWKnights, Ladies Auxiliary, etc.
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Brother Sir Knight Tony Koester, who went home to the house of the Father at 8:39pm Saturday evening surrounded by his family.
Tony was a member of the IWKnights & Honorary Life Member of the Holy Spirit Assembly #3588 of the Knights of Columbus and was very active in our council and the assembly.
Tony was a parishioner at Incarnate Word Parish in Chesterfield, MO as well as St. Anselm Parish and St. Monica Parish (both in Creve Coeur, MO).
Tony started the "Honored Guest" program at the Catholic Men for Christ conferences in the Archdiocese of St. Louis (Missouri), splitting wood and bringing it downtown to the homeless encampments under the bridges over the Mississippi.
Tony had been a 3rd Degree Knight of the Knights of Peter Claver (Central States District) for 15 years. Below are the Funeral arrangements for Tony (when we have them):
