Two upcoming K of C events for St. Louis area and state level of fellowship.
Sunday, Sept 16 Cardinals vs Dodgers game at 1:15 PM in the left field porch. Tickets are $25 each ($5 goes to Cardinal Glennon). After a day hitting golf balls at our tournament, watch the Cardinals hammer away to stay in contention for the playoffs. Deadline to purchase K of C tickets is August 18th - so act now.
Sunday, Sept 30 the Special Olympics new Training for Life Campus in Jefferson City is hosting an open house for the Missouri Knights of Columbus. The tour starts runs from 1-3:30 PM. Jim Ressler is driving a van/SUV to Jeff City leaving after the 5th Sunday mass/brunch at approximately 11 AM. As Mary Niswonger shared at our last meeting, this facility is one of a kind and K of C has pledged $1.2 million in funding. We can see IW council's plaque (Bronze or Silver) in the new training center lobby. The trip to Jeff City from IW expected to be about 2 hours. We could stop for a meal in Jeff City or return, if a majority prefer.

Alternatively, Lou Holtmann is organizing a bus for 50 people to Jeff City for $20 each leaving South County at 10:30 AM, return from Jeff City at 3:30.
