Did you know this about the IW Knights of Columbus?
The Knights of Columbus publish their Public Policy in four specific areas. The fourth and final policy relates to Pro-Life Educational Resources defined by comments and documents presented by our recent Popes along with a reference to the Catechism.

- Good Politics is at the Service of Love (2019): Message of Pope Francis concerning the necessity of peace and justice in politics.
- Amoris Laetitia (2016): Encyclical from Pope Francis on the family. A section on “The Transmission of Life and the Rearing of Children” can be found in paragraphs 80-85.
- Evangelii Gaudium (2013): Encyclical from Pope Francis on the Gospel in today’s world. Paragraphs 213-214 concern the unborn and the sanctity of human life.

- Caritas in Veritate (2009): Encyclical of Pope Benedict XVI. Chapter Six features “the Development of Peoples and Technology” and considers the evils of IVF, abortion, human hybrids, embryonic research, eugenics, and cloning in paragraph 75.

- Evangelium Vitae (1995): Encyclical from Pope St. John Paul II describing the Church’s teaching on a range of pro-life issues.
- Veritatis Splendor (1993): Encyclical of Pope St. John Paul II detailing the Church’s moral theology and its role in public life. Paragraphs 79-83 consider the intrinsic evils of attacks on the human person.
- Christifideles Laici (1988): Post-synodal Apostolic Exhortation of Pope St. John Paul II highlighting the dignity of the human person and the role of laity in the public sphere.
