It is with deep regret that the IWKnights of Columbus Council #9981 will no longer be able to participate in the Christmas Ham Promotion from this point forward as our request to conduct the promotion like we did in the past few years was denied by the parish office.
The reasons why were given by Anni Christman, Pastoral Assistant for Engagement and Communications for Incarnate Word Parish:
"We are actively working to prioritize parish activities to direct attention and resources to those efforts that align with the parish mission of growing disciples. While raising funds is helpful, we can utilize other avenues, like our new OSV giving or upcoming SVDP awareness weekend, to generate charitable giving........
........ministries are asked to evaluate each effort as an opportunity for parishioners and guests to develop a deeper and more personal relationship with Jesus Christ......"
