To All Council Members,
This Christmas, at the request of Fr. Schroeder, we will be giving out the book "Slowing Down to the Speed of Joy" by Matthew Kelly. On this coming Saturday morning, Dec 6, starting after the program "That Man is You" (so , starting at about 8 am), we will be putting stickers in the books. We will do this in the Barron Room in the lower church hall. We have 2,000 books to sticker, so if you are available, please come to help. Many hands make light work.
Also, we’ll need assistance handing out books at the Christmas Masses, and we’ll need a volunteer for each Mass to act as a "captain" to help make sure each of the exits is manned and to organize the book staging area and clean-up/recycle empty boxes. So, please consider which Mass you’ll be attending and let Ted Juen (tedjuen) know your availability. Ted will also be at the general meeting in December seeking volunteers.
Finally, if you would like to help fund these evangelization efforts, you may make a check payable to Incarnate Word, and be sure to put "Evangelization Fund" in the memo line so that your donation goes to the correct account.
