    • Date: Four times a Year on Saturday from 8:00AM to 2:00 PM.
    • Cost: Your Time.
    • Who keeps Olive Boulevard in front of Incarnate Word looking immaculate?
    •        The Knights of Columbus council 9981 has for many years adopted the section of Olive Blvd between Woods Mill Road and Creve Coeur Mill Road. As part of the community outreach, the council picks up trash for MODOT four times a year. A crew of 10 to 15 people can usually pick up all the trash in an hour.        The crews have begun cleaning the on/off ramps to highway 141 as well. The typical trash consists of bottles, broken glass, plastic cups, containers, sunglasses, food wrappers, various parts of cars, signs, and millions of cigarette butts. If you smoke, give us a break—don’t throw butts on the street!
There has been a noticeable improvement along Olive Blvd in the past couple of years. When you see the yellow bags on the side of the Olive blvd, remember the Knights picked up that trash to make our community look a little better.
Anyone in the parish and the council is welcome to join the crew. We need the help and pickup even in the rain and cold, so long as it is not hazardous. A hot cup of coffee or a cold drink awaits the crew after cleanup. Join us and you won’t be disappointed.
